Description
Fullplastic group. Two angels, hovering to the left, carry the corpse of the youthful saints, laid with their hands over each other, on a burial cloth. An angel, holding himself up in the process, seized the cloth at the shoulder of the reclining man, whose head was thereby placed in his left arm-bend. The second angel bends forward to gather the cloth under the lower legs of the saints. Katharina wears a girdle underneath the chest, with tight, long sleeves and short, deep-slit sleeves. Their curly hairs are clothed with a band laid around the head, and twisted on the upper head to form a knot. The shoulder-length curls of the angels were piled high over their foreheads, and to the side of the face, to voluminous creatures with a triangular outline. The angels wear long, sleeveless garments, which are worn over the waist-length, girdled, short-sleeved upper garments. Seams and sleeves of these garments, especially those of the kneeling angels, stand far apart as if they were fluttering in the wind. Incarnates of the angels bright with reddish differentiations on cheeks and noses, original incarnate Katharina can no longer be ascertained, dress of Catherine's ocher, no longer visible, coat of the angels sheet gold-plated, presumably oil gilding, collar of the angels no longer detectable, underwear of the right angel light brown.
