Description
Standing on a round ground sock, the saint puts the right leg loosely aside. The left, downward hand holds the martyr's palm, the attribute of the right hand raised in the chest is lost. The bearded head, laurel-wreathed, is turned to the right, looking upwards.Tanks, cloaks and laced sandals characterize the saint as a Roman soldier. The mantle, sweeping round the left upper arm in luxuriant folds, shows him as a ruler.
