Description
Portrait miniature of the actress Anna von Obloo in a trouser roll. The portrayed, a childish young and fresh girl, stands with great gestures in dark breeches, gold-embroidered, lush green vest and green tails in the middle of the picture. On the bluff on the right are tricorne and larva, on the left a man, in the background a figure. In the background trees and stone pedestal. Old inscription on reverse: "Anna de Obloo, Sängerin zu Braunschweig und Stieftochter des Herrn Nicolini Directeur des Spectacles - Abel pinxit 1755". On the reverse, in the upper left corner a red seal with an inscription "GC Gauich" or similar. Immediately to the right of it in black color the number "31", in the same, although smaller font behind it a "6" or a "G" and under a horizontal line another (unreadable) number or letter.
