Description
Bellied handle jug from Winterthur faience. The wall painted with a dense pattern of manganese swabs, horizontally structured. 4 parallel stripes in blue, yellow, brown, green. On the shoulder 3 put on medallions, in the middle a mascaron, left and right half-length portrait of a man with an object in his hands. Pewter mounts. Lid is missing. On base, in black "F. 2720 ", the F should stand for Figdor. Under this font, another older, barely legible number seems to lie, it seems to end in "709." Or "909."
