Description

Print, pattern painted by J.Tischbein, engraved by E. Morace;

recto lower right round embossing mark: in smooth and Perl margin twice the letter "F" placed against each other? respectively "T"?

at the back side lower left square collector's stamp in blue "H.S.".

Acquired in March 1936 by the Goethe National Museum Weimar from the antiquarian/art dealer Lothar Hempe, Stuttgart;

Collector's stamp "H.S." identified as Dr. Heinrich Schwarz;
