Description
In front of a drum (tzuzumi), the bottom of which is adorned with the figure of Mitsu-tomoye, squats a boy whose head and body are concealed in a shishi costume.

Acquired in 1908 by Herbert Ginsberg in Japan; 1908 to 1942 Ostasiatica Collection Herbert Ginsberg, Berlin; confiscated by the SD in Rotterdam in 1942.
