Location of the Koordinierungsstelle
The Koordinierungsstelle für Kulturgutverluste (Coordination Office for Lost Cultural Assets ) is a public institution jointly financed by the Federal Government and all German Laender housed within the Ministry of Cultural Affairs in the Land of Saxony-Anhalt in Magdeburg.
The office's work is guided by an executive board, a board of trustees and an advisory committee. The executive board and board of trustees comprise representatives from Federal and Laender Government. The advisory committee, headed by the Vice President of the Prussian Cultural Heritage Foundation, Norbert Zimmermann, is made up of representatives from museums, libraries, archives, umbrella associations such as the German Confederation of Museums or ICOM Germany and the Working Group for Provenance Research:
