The database information provided represents an excerpt of the losses suffered by legal and natural persons and/or of corresponding third-party possession resulting from the Second World War and the Nazi rule in Germany. Responsibility and copyright for the data on which this website is based lies exclusively with the legal and natural persons reporting the loss or third-party possession.

If an object is claimed by multiple reporting parties the report will list the Foundation as the point of contact. In the event of inquiries, identifications or fundamental changes to the status of the case etc. the Foundation will inform all parties involved.
