ANOTHER GOOD DERUTA PORTRAIT DISH with shallow sunk centre decorated with a profile bust portrait of a girl in low cut yellow dress, her hair in orange and blue, the profile placed against a mass of blue background, inscribed " LAODEO ", within a blue and orange chevron and saw edge border, the wide everted rim decorated with candelieri motifs, medallions, hounds and birds in shades of yellow, dark blue, green and white on an orange ground, the underside with orange and blue concentric bands and lines and in the centre the initials F (with a paraph through the lower part) and I, circa 1510
