Landesmuseum Mainz

A list of paintings with a "J-number" was already reported to the following institutions in 1999 on the initiative of the then Director Dr. Fiedler-Bender:

1. Commission for Art Recovery of the World Jewish Congress (Dr. C. Lowwenthal, New York); 2. Holocaust Art Restitution Project (HARP), Dir. M. Masurovsky, Washington; 3. 2001: Notification to the Commission on Looted Art, London, of the complete list of all cultural artefacts, paintings, graphic works and furniture which are still in the Landesmuseum Mainz. The Dutch paintings of the 17th century were already published in the 1997 inventory catalogue with "J-No." in the appendix.
