A chased brass plate with floral vase decoration. The plate is very cleanly forged and the decoration is chased. The regular, unelaborate pattern could offer an approach to see the plate stylistically in the time of classicism. On the other hand, there are clearly visible traces of turning or pressing on the base of the plate, which already indicate an industrial method of production. No hallmarks, master marks or other markings are visible on the piece.
