Provenance
Chair belongs to an ensemble of four dining room chairs which, according to the donor family Prass in Leer, are said to come from the property of a forester family from the vicinity of Rostock, Jagdschloss Gelbensande. The chairs had been in the possession of the Prass family in Leer since 1939 and could have unlawfully come to Leer from Rostock. Since June 2014 they belong to the collection of the museum of local history Leer.
