Description
In the summer vegetable garden a young farmer's wife with yellow shoulder cloth and pink-grey apron is walking in front, holding a flat basket in front of her; above her the small farmhouse, piled up with firewood and surrounded by young grey-green trees; in front on the right a second identical basket with vegetables, above it backwards a second farmhouse in front of higher trees. Inscribed at lower left: C.M. Baer/München (On the stretcher: address: Brugger, München).
