Description
The country people are working on two hay carts, each with a girl tying the mast backwards and taking in the last load of hay in front, in the flat meadow landscape in which the village church appears backwards on the left. On the left in front, a boy and a girl stand in front of the harnessed steeds. Purple clouds cover the sky. Inscribed at lower right: D. Thomassin.
