Description
Wide high mountain valley. A foaming torrent flows out in front (out of the picture). Mighty grey-green and reddish boulders line its banks and fill the foreground of the picture. In the centre of the picture is a small group of fir trees. In the background on the left, a last pale yellow light lies on a distant willow. Deep grey-black veils of rain cover the mountains. Tonal dark colours. Inscribed lower right. Albert Zimmermann.
