Description
This warmer has a large, concave-shaped, decoratively openwork hoop. On the lower rim are triangular lobes with shell and floral decoration as well as three volute feet decorated with shell decoration, on top of which is a curved pair of drop handles with shell and floral decoration. On the upper rim there are three flat attachments with shell decoration, which protrude beyond the hoop. It bears no master's mark or other markings. Due to the frequently recurring shapes in pewter, the teapot warmer alone can be assigned to the Baroque period, but it may have been produced between the 18th and the early 20th century.
