Verdure
The tapestry shows a bay under trees. In the foreground, numerous water birds and fish are depicted on the lakeshore. On the left and right edges of the motif, a deciduous tree extends to the upper edge of the motif. In the middle ground there is a ship on the wavy sea. Behind it is a fortified harbour in front of high mountains. The depiction is framed by a border mainly in red and green colours, whose ornaments are composed of shells and floral tendrils. The work is the counterpart to the " Hafenlandschaft" (Harbour Landscape), the whereabouts of which are currently unknown.
The tapestry is neither inscribed nor dated.
