Approximately 1,400 volumes. Scientific library (with journals) Volumes acquired before 1918 bear an oval stamp on the front or back cover with the Royal Saxon coat of arms and the inscription: K. S: Münzcabinett. Acquisitions after 1918 bear a round stamp with the Saxon coat of arms (without crown) in the center and the inscription SÄCHSISCHES MÜNZKABINETT DRESDEN (Saxon Coin Cabinet Dresden). Many volumes have an ex-libris label affixed to the inside of the front cover with the following inscription: Bibliotheca Numophylacii Regis Saxonias.
