Description
Adam stands naked upright, the right hand leaning on a tree trunk, the left hand raising the apple. The left hand broken off and reattached. Toes chipped.
Provenance
Kunstkammer inventory 1640; Kunstkammer inventory 1741; inventory volume "Alter Bestand" [holdings] (1920-1991). Old property - Probably acquired by Elector Johann Georg I. from the artist's widow in 1640.
