Description
Brooche with wide, shield-shaped bow. Leaf-shaped, hollow shackle is, tapering at the front. The base ending in a curved tip. The spiral is double-sided, the tendon is looped twice around the shackle.
Provenance
1885 from Dr. Dressel Collection, Rome. Inventory ZV 458-2814 (1886-1919/20). Not listed in the 1950 inventory. Whereabouts unknown.
