Description
Low bulbous body on three claw feet, with outwardly curved bulbous mouth and volute handle. Flat convex cover with pine knob. On two sides of the body chinoiseries in etched gold painting on narrow stripes framed by golden stripes: a) three Chinese in adoration before a fantastic bird; b) a ruler enthroned under a canopy, on the right a kneeling servant with steaming bowls, on the left a standing man with a basket with handles. Between the scenes a large sitting bird. Mouth, handle, rim of the cover as well as the knob gilded. Border of jagged arches, dots and branches below the mouth and on the edge of the cover. On the cover a flying heron, insect and flower. [...] Without mark.
