Description
Diptych with two depictions in coarsely carved high relief: the Presentation of Christ at the Temple and the Crucifixion; inserted wooden writing tablet with silverpoint stylus.
Provenance
According to the 1858 inventory, the object came from the estate of duke Ernest II of Saxe-Gotha-Altenburg and was transferred to the Kunstkammer in 1804 by duke August of Saxe-Gotha-Altenburg.
