Description
Régence, Paris, Curved frame on waxed nutwood, high rectangular back rest. The cornice of the seat, the curved legs and a part of the curved armrests with rocaile motives. The feet are stabilized with diagonal bridges, the back rest, the seats and the cushions, the “Manchettes” are with Aubusson-covers. Each rest shows a putti in a landscape surrounded by flower- and fruit garlands- The landscapes and the putti show the four types as spring, summer, fall and winter. The seats are decorated with fruit bowls. On these fruit bowls are parrots and other exotic birds, surrounded by fruit- and flower garlands. Gobelins on brown ground in red, pink, light blue green, yellow brown and beige. The chairs date from Silesian noble families.
