Description
Miniature box with lid, box with portrait miniature of gold à deux Couleurs, circular; base, walls and lid framed by plant borders; surfaces guilloched and decorated with punched dots; miniature depicting an old gentleman in a white tie and black skirt; it is set in an elongated octagon and affixed to the top of the lid; several stamps stamped inside: Stamp of guarantee of the Parisian guild since 1794 (R3 6564) and stamp C under animal head in rhombus, uninterpreted
