Description
Miniature box with hinged lid; box with portrait miniature in gold à deux Couleurs, high, oval form; base and hinged lid framed by a border of white enamel stripes, greenish gold dots and green translucent enamel leaves; the enclosed field guilloched and decorated with punched circles; the wall is divided into four guilloched and hallmarked fields, separated by pilaster-shaped intermediate pieces with green enamel rings and gold dots; inside there are blurred marks (the crowned lily of the Parisian goldsmiths can be seen); on the fold of the wall there are Austrian "F" hallmarks from 1806 (R3 7880)
