Chrysanthemen in Gold- und Schwarzlack. 7 cm. Japan".

According to the annotated Lepke catalogue (Kunsthistorische Bibliothek, Den Haag), it was bought by the art dealer Hanns Krenz (Nettelbeckstraße 7/8, Berlin - Schöneberg), who specialised in East Asian art, for RM 70 (estimate: RM 40).
