Description
Signed: „HB (ligated) f 1627“; half-length facing left, looking at the viewer; the juvenile reddish-brown face has wide cheekbones and a sparse beard on the pointed chin; the tall fur hat adorned with a medal, and the spotted fur over the shoulder are painted with broad and strong brush strokes but in a slightly stiff manner; he holds a flute in his right hand; the background is grey brown.
