Description
Beaker and lid are covered with delicate arabesques, done in black enamel; the front side of the beaker is set with rubies in the shape of an anchor, the bottom inside with a heart-shaped ruby; the bottom edges of beaker and lid are set with a circle of rubies each; the surface and the handle of the lid are also decorated with several rubies; one arch with rubies on the lid is missing; all in all, the beaker is set with 161 rubies; the feet are three black men's heads, enamelled in black, white and red and with golden hair; "ALTENBVRGISCHE LANDSCHAFT 1633" is inscribed on the lip.
