Lidded beaker

One of twelve lidded beakers; the beakers are wrought in a bulbous shape above the foot and flare in a curved conical shape towards the rim; the lid, the foot and the lower part of the body are decorated with wide gadroons; the lid handle is shaped like a star-flower; the interiors of the beaker and the lid are gilded; all of the pieces show the Ernestine coat of arms under the princely coronet (?) as well as the year 1723; marked and numbered on the underside of the foot.
