Description
Lidded goblet on a high pedestal; Venus with sitting Cupid and a poodle on the lid, as well as people sleeping and kissing; on the bowl: Battle of the Amazons; the pedestal is made up of a figural group: a bald man stabbing a girl, with dead and wounded people underneath; on the bottom of the bowl: a medaillon containing Mercury and a nymph blowing the sheperd's pipe, and Cupid holding the caduceus above
