Scissors grinder with barrow and dog, on a black wooden pedestal with ivory feet; the grinder smokes a pipe, the lid of which dangles on a delicate chain made by the master turner Jusatz from Gotha; signed on the pedestal as "CALük".

According to the 1830 and 1858 inventories, the object used to belong to duke August of Saxe-Gotha-Altenburg.
