Description
A pair of allegorical groups: the seasons and the continents, on rectangular plinths with pink and gold-rimmed rocaille. (a) Flora as spring, standing, in pale yellow garment, with purple flowers, surrounded by three putti, embodying the other seasons; (b) Europe with crown, scepter and ermine coat, in white garment, with blue-gold streaks, surrounded by three putti embodying Asia, Africa and America. White posts with gilded profiles. Insignificant damage. The model of the seasons by Wilhelm Christian Meyer, 1769. Scepter marks. H. of the postaments each 6,5 cm
