Description
Sleeping Venus in the foreground of a landscape. In front of a tall group of trees, in whose branches three climbing cupids pick fruit, a red tent is improvised, under which the naked goddess lies stretched out asleep on a blue blanket and a red upholstery. Three amorets guarding them (one guarding the jewelery box) look in amazement at a young shepherd, coming in from the left in brown fluttering clothes, his dog on a leash, led by a cupid. Amorets with the golden shell wagon of the goddess play on the left under the tree group. Backward wide view in a mountain landscape.
