Description
Chinese sapphire statuette on a gilded silver pedestal studded with coloured glass.
Provenance
According to a note in the 1858 inventory, the statuette was acquired by duke Friedrich II. with the collection of the count of Schwarzburg for the sum of 2000 reichtalers. Extant in the Kunstkammer since at least 1764, probable loss after 1945, whereabouts unknown.
