Provenance
The art work belonged to claimant's uncle, who lived in Paris, France and Lódz, Poland during WWII. He died in the Austrian concentration camp Ebensee in May of 1945. The exact circumstances of the theft are not known.
The painting has been sold online successfully in June 2014 by the auction house iGAVEL to a German purchaser. Unknown private owner.
