Description
Octagonal, bulbous sugar bowl with twelve-sided, domed lid; on a low, hollow foot with six-pronged supports; two bough-shaped handles with gold decoration; decor: golden flowers and leaves; shiny yellow glaze.
Provenance
Acquired on August 24th 1892 from the gold worker Hesse, Gotha, for the sum of 4 marks - note by Karl Purgold: "pity purchase".
