Description
Slim round vase on profiled foot. On the middle of the vessel a frieze of large acanthus leaves. The vessel wall jumps back slightly from the lower approach of these leaves. The lip of the vessel is ground, cover is missing. Reddish brown stoneware polished outside with the exception of the acanthus frieze. In rich gold bronze mounting, which is several times with the Paris C-couronné stamp of the period around 1745-50 is designated. The side braces are attached to the foot with two screws that cover the underside of the stoneware vase.
