Art trade Goudstikker-Miedl, Amsterdam, no. 6574; Ned. Standaardbank, Amsterdam, 3131'44; 30. 3. 1944 sold to E. Kummerlé, Brandenburg; according to another source (?) acquired by Goudstikker, inv. Source (?) acquired from Goudstikker, inv. no. 6546, sold by Goudstikker to E. Kummerle f 8,000 on 23 Feb. 1944; until April 1953 Johanna Kummerlé (wife of Alfred Kummerlé); after leaving the GDR, a collection of 42 paintings was transferred to public ownership; handed over to the museum on 26 March 1954 by the Ministry of Finance of the GDR, Department of Depository Management.
