Collection; 1943 Theo Hermsen, Critique d'Arte, Paris, 1 rue de la Grange-Bateliere; acquired in Paris between 20 April and 5 June 1943 for 8,500 RM from Hildebrand Gurlitt, Dresden; purchased by the latter for 9,350 RM (special permit from municipal funds) from the museum; inventoried on 17 March 1943
