Description
Snow-covered market place in the foreground, illuminated stalls with Christmas trees in front on the right and left. On the right a woman in a purple skirt, light jacket with fur trim and muff. Behind her, a Marian column and the right-hand front of the market square. A crowd of people in front of the stalls, a street lamp in between. Houses with partially lit windows also border the square to the left. The blue-grey evening sky is enlivened by the moon peeping out from under violet-brown clouds. Inscribed on the lower right: F. Barbarini.
