Design perhaps for a lunette fresco in the Chiostro grande of S. Maria Novella, Florence; formerly thought to be a design for S. Maria Maggiore (see inscription)

Verso: Lugt number L. 2445 (Sir Thomas Lawrence); stamp: SGSM 18 / Lugt 1094c in brown; old inscription on the verso of the sheet: ‘...Lo fece Alessandro Allori ma fu colourito da Bernardino Pocetti in S. Maria Magiore.’; lower left in light red: ‘1799’ or ‘A Z 99’ (reading not clear)
