Description
A faience bowl with butter, decorated with a carnation, stands on a truncated loaf of brown bread; a roemer and a tall wineglass, two broken eggs, one of them in a pewter egg cup, a dessert knife, a baked apple and some beetles; finely painted, but dull and sober in colouring.
