Description
Farm garden in Éragny enclosed with wooden fence. Tall, spring-like golden-green trees in the foreground, through which the sun casts shadows. To the left of the foremost tree stands a peasant woman, dressed in a blue-violet dress and red headdress, holding a bucket in her right hand. In the depth of the picture gable and roof of a house with two chimneys. Signed and dated at lower left: C. Pissarro. 1885.
