Description
In the left foreground, the big black bird sits on a yellow stone and with flapping wings and open beak defends two attacking yellow-white chicken dogs, which approach through water with open throat and are only visible to a third. Behind them a large thistle bush and a tree trunk which is cut by the upper edge of the picture. The background is formed by a water, a city view and a light grey sky with some sunshine.
