signed bottom left: C H; Girl dressed yellow-brown in yellow stocking with green stockings, sitting face to face, her right arm placed over the back of the chair. With combined hands. Dark brown hair. Brown contours, brown interior drawing. Violet violet as a counterpoint also in the background.
