Still life with fish and bottle (Still life)

Signed lower left: Vlaminck; Tureen with lid, fish in front of paper over brown table against violet background. Two bottles, (blue-green). The picturesque collection point is formed by the shimmering fish liveries, on their heads, fins and gills, such as molten fiery red (carmine), warm pink, reddish brown and cinnabar. Left in strong slashes the table edge light pink emphasized. The smooth brushwork simultaneously models the objects and binds them into the masterfully balanced composition.
