Provenance
At the latest since 1822 part of the collection of paintings of the Württemberg dukes/kings in Ludwigsburg Palace; the crown estate went to the state of Württemberg under the jurisdiction of the Ministry of Finance in 1918; last inventory entry in 1931 (location: Kabinett d. Bildergalerie Raum 231); 1935 placed with further works for restoration and (permanent) exhibition in the Staatsgalerie Stuttgart, remained there until the beginning of the war; loss during the war.
