Description
Koch: Later [father] had this view painted by Luckart, a native of Frankfurt. I still had this picture with me here in Essentucky. It disappeared during the German occupation. [...] this view towards Kronberg is beautiful, but when the fruit trees blossom in spring, its beauty is overwhelming. My father commissioned the painter Luckhart to paint this scene. For many years this beautiful painting hung in our house in Savignystraße. I only lost it here in Essentucky, along with all my other belongings.
