Provenance
The painting was part of the furnishings of the Dresden Castle. It is listed in inventory no. 1 of 31.01.1920 as part of the settlement agreement between the Free State of Saxony and the former royal house of 1924, which belongs to the state as a room inventory marked in red. In August 1943, the painting was removed during the war and taken to Schleinitz Castle. According to the records, it was lost at the relocation site.
