Two twelve-arm brass chandeliers

Dresden Castle, state rooms; listed in inventory no. 1 dated January 31, 1920, as part of the settlement agreement between the Free State of Saxony and the former royal house of 1924, as room inventory marked with a red cross, belongs to the state; The two chandeliers from the first and second antechambers (coffee room) were either already moved on April 13, 1944, or at the latest with the second transport on April 21, 1944, to the relocation site at the Brauna manor near Kamenz. The chandeliers from the corner hall arrived at Zottewitz Castle on April 27, 1944. They were stored in the basement of the main building, while the large central chandelier was placed in the garage of the farm building. Nothing is known about the circumstances surrounding the loss of these objects. It is assumed that they were lost in connection with the events of World War II.
